This was my favorite class that I learned this semester. While I was never too stressed about the workload, I found that I learned so much and have really retained it because I found the material so interesting and the way it was presented so compelling. Professor Larimore was so organized and thoughtful. She really knows her stuff. She is approachable, smart, and gave extremely comprehensive lectures. Her expectations were always clear. I really feel like I got a comprehensive, deep introduction to racial/ethnic inequalities in healthcare. I learned about everything from the social determinants of health to the basic provisions of the Affordable Care Act. This class peaked my interest in public health and taking more sociology courses. Basically, it was amazing. - Student Evaluation, Fall 2019
